Supporting women and teen girls through life’s transitions with empathy, care, and mindful presence. Together, we uncover the strength, clarity, and wisdom already within. Empowering your journey — one courageous, compassionate step at a time.
Hi, I’m Megan.
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) in Washington State. I firmly believe that when life’s transitions, cliff-hangers, and story arcs take a turn that fill us with anxiety, struggle, sadness, it’s natural to feel as if it’s “always going to be this way.” I want to work with you to understand the intricate balance that is our thoughts, emotions, and feelings and how we can create tools for you to take control and create action to turn the page into a new chapter.
I am honored to be a counselor and to be invited to join my clients in their most challenging times. I strive to create an empathic, safe, and peaceful environment during every session. My ultimate goal is to work with each client, meeting them where they’re at, to create change from a place of love, healing, empowerment, strength, and self-compassion to illuminate you in a way that feels authentic and brings about peace and joy.
Areas of Focus:
Anxiety, perinatal depression (prior to, during, and after birth), self-esteem, perimenopause, menopause, infertility, grief/loss, parenting struggles and support, women’s health, life transitions, and career and life goal development.
“Breathe, darling. This is just a chapter. It’s not your whole story.” — S.C. Lourie
Teens
Anxiety, depression, self-esteem, grief/loss, women’s health, life transitions, and career and life goal development.
Counseling teen girls through the transition into adulthood is one of my favorite parts of what I do. It involves providing a supportive space to explore my client’s evolving identities and cope with the emotional complexities of growing up. I strive to help them navigate shifting friendships, family dynamics, and social pressures with resilience and self-awareness.
I can help guide them in developing strong communication and decision-making skills while encouraging a sense of purpose, direction, and self-love. Through this process, we work together to help build their confidence and tools for planning a healthy, empowered future.
Perinatal
Anxiety, perinatal depression (prior to, during, and after birth), self-esteem, perimenopause, menopause, infertility, grief/loss, and parenting struggles and support.
I truly feel that being able to work with women on their journey through trying to conceive, facing infertility, pregnancy, and postpartum—whether their children are newborns or adults—is my calling in life. It means honoring each stage as a deeply personal and emotional experience.
I would love to help you reconnect with your individuality and recognize that you are a strong, multifaceted woman beyond your roles as a caregiver. I strive to support women in developing skills to fill their lives with what brings them joy and fulfillment. In doing so, we are better equipped to care for our families and nurture the relationships that matter most.
Life Transitions
Anxiety, perinatal depression (prior to, during, and after birth), self-esteem, perimenopause, menopause, infertility, grief/loss, parenting struggles and support, women’s health, life transitions, and career and life goal development.
Navigating life transitions often begins with quieting the inner critic and learning to treat ourselves with compassion and patience, which is often easier said than done. But by mindfully pausing before we respond and trusting our intuition, we can create space for clarity and intentional action.
I will work with you to focus on what you can control—your mindset, choices, and daily habits— to build a sense of stability and empowerment, while flowing with what you cannot control, to bring peace and resilience to your everyday life.
